The Bolivarian National Guard of Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela, has seized around 315 Bitcoin [BTC] mining equipments manufactured by Bitmain. The owners of the mining rigs were noted that they didn’t possess the required permits to own as well as operate the machines. They also weren’t authorised to be transporting the machines within the coronavirus breakdown.
In line with the present legislation, Venezuelan citizens who have an interest in conducting cryptocurrency-related mining activities must obtain the acceptable permits from a govt. office called the National Superintendence of Cryptoactives. Owners who fail to get these permits risk being fined, and having their equipment seized.
