PlusToken Ponzi Scheme Funds Are Been Shifted – Struck In ETH Block Congestion.

Funds from the renowned Chinese-based PlusToken ponzi scheme seem to be moving once again, but they’re being blocked by Ethereum’s ongoing block congestion.

In line with Whale Alert, funds from an illicit PlusToken Ether [ETH] stash were seen moving to some new fresh address. The fraudsters transferred 789,500 ETH, worth around $186 Mln, in what appears to be an attempt to launder their funds.

The incoming wallet has since signed above 50 transactions to separate & split the funds across dozens of wallets, but solely one among them appears to be have been confirmed for now.

The remaining transactions are hanging within the mempool for above half an hour as at the reporting time, largely due to their relatively low gas fee.

The transactions are bidding between 25 & 30 Gwei, that are significantly even below the average of 50 Gwei, in line with EthGasStation.

Moreover, just recently, PlusToken shifted its $67 Mln of illicit funds in EOS.
