Tokyo-based renowned digital asset management firm, Hyperithm, raises $11 Mln
within a Series B funding round that was co-led by South Korea’s Hashed and Wemade Tree, a subsidiary of the gaming company behind the “Legend of Mir” series.
Other participating investors
within the round embody Coinbase Ventures, Cocone, GS Futures
as well as the Guardian Fund, Hyperithm revealed in an official email.
Founded earlier in January 2018, Hyperithm operates in Tokyo and Seoul and
focuses on automated trading and risk management through cryptographic algorithms.
The firm outlined that
it's seeing growth
within the institutional
marketplace for digital assets in East Asia.
It serves institutional investors, publicly listed firms, family offices,
venture capital businesses,
cryptocurrency exchanges, and miners.
Earlier investors have included South Korea's VIP Research & Management
as well as the venture capital firms owned by South Korean internet firms Kakao as well as Naver.
