The hourly data revealed by Google Trends shows that United Sates based searches for “Bitcoin” have consistently peaked around 1 AM Eastern Time for the past week. This hourly data is merely available 7 days into the past, so we don’t know if this is a longtime pattern or a new development.
Out of fifty states, California is among the foremost search-happy at this hour, possibly as 1 AM Eastern represents just 10 PM local time on the West Coast. Many reasonable browsing time left within the evening.
It’s also not surprising that the hike in searches interest in Bitcoin [BTC] over the past 30 days coincided with this week’s notorious Twitter hack. As Satoshi Nakamoto once noticed under similar circumstances, “it would are nice to urge this attention in the other context.”
Meanwhile, it’s still not too late for a few of the victims to urge their Bitcoin back.
