In line with a recent official press release published, SWB -Boerse Stuttgart, the 2nd largest stock market exchange within Germany, has listed two crypto ETNs [Exchange-traded Notes].
Based on 2 major cryptocurrencies, Ripple [XRP] & litecoin [LTC], and issued via XBT provider, the ETNs can be presently traded against the SEK [Swedish Krona] and Euro on Boerse Stuttgart, Europe’s 10th largest exchange, the announcement added.
The SWB’s crypto ETNs listing supposedly permits investors to trace the long-run price developments of both Ripple [XRP] and Litecoin [LTC] via exchange-traded securities, which is the 1st primary initiative of its kind in Germany, the executive named ‘Jürgen Dietrich’ at [Boerse Stuttgart] explained within the announcement.
Similarly to alternative exchange-traded products, cryptocurrency ETNs are reportedly available within the market for trading on the exchange from 8:00 to 22:00 CET [Central European Time].
XRP and LTC-based ETNs have already been trading within Sweden at Boerse Stuttgart-owned exchange namely NGM [Nordic Growth Market], since 4th April.
Also earlier this year, Boerse Stuttgart formally ‘launched‘ its crypto-trading app named ‘Bison’.
Recently, the world’s 2nd-largest stock market exchange named ‘NASDAQ’ was ‘reported‘ to test trading of a Bitcoin [BTC]-based product. Previously, the exchange ‘confirmed‘ its plans to launch bitcoin futures within the mid of this year.
