In line with recent ‘report‘ by renowned ‘blockchain‘ explorer ‘Etherscan’, the daily registered transactions on the Ethereum [ETH] network exceeded over a million recently, on 28th June, for the very first time since May last year.
Per Etherscan, on 28th June there were around 1,004,170 transactions confirmed on the Ethereum [ETH] blockchain. Before yesterday, the last time the Ethereum chain registered over a million daily transactions was in May lasy year. Yet, the present level remains notably less than the 1,349,890 daily transactions peak registered on 4th January last year.
The on-chain transaction worth of Ethereum ‘hit‘ a monthly transactional high earlier in Dec. last year. That month saw over 100 Mln transactions confirmed on-chain, an incomparable all-time high excluding activity following a hard fork caused by the ‘DAO‘ hack earlier in 2016.
As crypto analytics firm Diar ‘reported‘ at the time, Ethereum volumes on DApps [Decentralized Applications] registered a new all time high earlier in April with 776,000 ETH transacted. At the end of April, Diar additionally ‘noted‘ that the on-chain transactions on the bitcoin [BTC] network hit fresh highs not seen since 2017 throughout the month.
