A recent web blog-post on Ethereum’ official blog reveals that the network’s version 2.0 still remains coming, stating several developments since its last update.
“Apart from written updates as well as other public summaries, client teams, contributors, and community members/prospective-validators are busy,” said a post added on 23rd June.
ETH 2.0 Development Will Take Some More Time
Its been a long time coming, Ethereum 2.0, or ETH 2.0, still has not yet gone live with the network’s transition into PoS [proof-of-stake], consensus.
The network’s web-blog published its 12th ETH 2.0 update recently, mentioning a team hard at work. The update revealed variety of main developments, including “new Solidity deposit contract formally verified and added to the bounty program,” along with another Altona testnet version, v0.12, likely hitting at some point over subsequent several days, the blog post added.
Some other details included “continuation grant to Sigma Prime for beacon-fuzz to seek out all the bugs.”
