As per a new survey from ‘Deloitte’ the company revealed that many of investors from the media, technology and telecom are waiting to invest millions in the blockchain technology next year.
A report by Deloitte Center was released recently to look wider into the blockchain based technologies and how it could be applied to different business sectors. Deloitte is one of the among the major accounting organizations and the largest professional services network in the world by revenue and number of professionals.
The researchers behind the report surveyed more than a thousand executives from seven different countries, along with TMT company’s. They found that a major percentage of all respondents “believe that blockchain would reach a mainstream adoption very soon.
Roughly 55% said that they suppose blockchain technology might disrupt their specific industries, while around 30% of all respondents mentioned that they have already joined a blockchain pool as a part of the technological revolution.
Further, overall interest in blockchain technology is growing everyday, as per Deloitte’s survey. The firm foretold that revenue for blockchain corporations would grow from $320 Mln in 2017 to the max amount as $2.2 Bln by year 2021.
Deloitte’s report enclosed alternative points lightning the interest on the financing side of things. As per the company, Within the six months of 2018 alone, venture capitalists have funded blockchain startups to the tune of $1.3 Bln.
Developers also are progressively trying into the technology, the report found, mentioning that “since 2009, the amount of blockchain projects on the GitHub platform has also increased considerably.
