MoonPay, a financial technology payment technology firm, has paid more than $3 million for a zombie-inspired CryptoPunk. The firm frequently acts as a go-between for famous NFT transactions, allowing people to guess as to whichever high-profile individual is driving the purchase.
MoonPay paid 900 ETH for the NFT yesterday at 11:52 p.m. UTC. With an ETH value of $3,406.48 at the moment, that's a $3,065,832 purchase.
