Coinbase Pro Lists Cardano From 18th March.

Coinbase Pro adds support for Cardano’s ADA [+22.98%], with trading starting from Thursday i.e. 18th March, once sufficient supply of ADA is established on the platform, the exchange revealed earlier on Tuesday.

Trading will start on or after 16:00 UTC [12 p.m. ET] on 18th March if liquidity conditions are met.

Coinbase Pro will solely support withdrawals to addresses on the Cardano network’s decentralized Shelley hard fork.

Support for addresses employing the previous, Byron, version is going to be permitted shortly, Coinbase revealed.

Aspiring Ethereum-rival Cardano gained 274% earlier in February. ADA has become the third-most valuable crypto asset by market capitalization, leapfrogging Bitcoin Cash [BCH, -0.78%], Litecoin [LTC, -0.31%], and Ripple [XRP,-4.23%].

ADA was also added to Bloomberg terminals recently, potentially offering an outsized number of professional traders with exposure to the cryptocurrency asset.

At the reporting time, ADA was priced at $1.28 USD, up 17.09% within the past 24 hours, and features a market capitalization of $39.44 Bln.
