In line with a recent official ‘announcement‘, crypto exchange and digital wallet service provider ‘Coinbase’ has recently launched its new “Convert” service.
In line with the statement, customers would be now able to convert between Bitcoin [BTC], Ethereum [ETH], Ethereum Classic [ETC], Litecoin [LTC], 0x [ZRX] and Bitcoin Cash [BCH]. This new introduced service would be available on coinbase.com along with its iOS and Android applications.
The new feature is expected to supposedly be made available to the customers in 34 different countries, whereby Coinbase offers native payment access. As per the exchange, Convert is a “natural progression” within the platform’s development.
Since from 10th Dec., [Coinbase] has been rolling out new offerings as a part of its “12 Days of Coinbase” promotional campaign named in reference to a conventional Christmas song. On 14th Dec., the exchange ‘introduced‘ fiat order withdrawals to payment service ‘PayPal’. The service is expected to be available to the users within the United States and would gradually be introduced to other different jurisdictions soon.
Coinbase and PayPal antecedently integrated in 2016, after the exchange announced its support for the platform additionally to major credit cards. At the time, Coinbase users are able to sell their Bitcoin [BTC] and have their order funds deposited to a PayPal wallet. However, this integration was terminated in Feb 2018 due to some technical issues.
In addition to introducing new services and options on the [Coinbase platform], the campaign has enclosed charitable and academic initiatives.
Coinbase’s Pro exchange platform is the the twentieth largest exchange by 24-hour trade volume, per CoinMarketCap, at $154 Mln.
