In line with an official ‘press release‘ published, China has announced its latest govt.-sponsored ranking of major cryptocurrencies, listing Bitcoin [BTC] at 15th position, while EOS [EOS] still keeps its prime spot.
The crypto rankings by CCID [China’s Center for information and industry Development] were 1st declared earlier in May last year. In the present ninth edition of the index, EOS [EOS] keeps its place as the top-ranked blockchain, that has been occupied by the platform since June last year.
The ninth CCID international Public Chain Technology analysis Index, the first index published by the institute in 2019, places EOS [EOS] at the 1st position again. The last such index, that was published in Dec. of last year, also placed EOS in 1st place.
As reported earlier in Nov. last year, EOS found itself within the middle of a ‘controversy‘ again when its governance model was exposed by proof suggesting that some confirmed transactions were reversed.
The 2nd position within the ranking is held by Ethereum [ETH], a similar place it held in December’s rankings, after the recent postponement of the ‘hard fork by Ethereum‘ developers till late Feb.. Bitcoin’s current position, on the opposite hand, is up from the eighteenth place it held in Dec. last year to the fifteenth position presently.
On the other hand, Ripple [XRP] is ranked at the 20th position – launched a blockchain analysis scholarship in partnership with a major Chinese research university last week.
