Brex Reveals Crypto Rewards Program For Its Business Clients.

San Francisco-based financial firm, Brex, has revealed a crypto rewards program for its business clients, permitting them to redeem points for Bitcoin [
BTC, -0.81%] and Ethereum [
ETH, +4.97%].
The company has formed a collaboration with TravelBank and Coinbase
to offer the program, Brex outlined today on Wednesday.
TravelBank, a travel app for businesses, will manage the program, while the Coinbase exchange will offer wallets to store customers' cryptocurrency rewards.
Business clients, along with Airbnb, Carta, Classpass, and Y Combinator,
are going to be able to redeem points for crypto in what Brex says
is among the primary such program for businesses.
Sam Blond, Brex's chief sales officer, added that
the firm has been considering DeFi [Decentralized Finance] as well as the cryptocurrency market.
The company offers business credit cards and cash-management accounts and offers bookkeeping to tech firms.
Additionally to the new
choice to the rewards program, which was launched earlier in 2018, reflects Brex’s belief that crypto assets will play
an enormous role
within the way forward for finance, the firm added.
The company completed the Y Combinator
accelerator funding program for startups in 2017 and has raised over $940 Mln in
venture capital.
